Our Story
I was at work one day and passed a man in a beautiful suit and thought “I want fabric like that as a tablecloth”. His plaid dark navy suit, shirt, tie and pocket square made me dream of coordinated placemats, runners and napkins. I wanted table linens that were as elegantly put together as a sophisticated suit.
I researched plaids and learned that many of my favorite patterns are considered plaids: houndstooth, herringbone, gingham checks, windowpanes, etc… The more I looked, the more I realized the plaid table linens I wanted didn’t exist at the price point I was comfortable with or the quality level I expected.
My favorite fabric store provided the inspiration and from that moment, I have been on the hunt for beautiful fabrics at great prices in order to share my love of a sophisticated plaid table setting. I hope there will be many seasons to come with new patterns and colors to help adorn your tables with a little Plaid and Garnish!
About Me
I've spent my life surrounded by women with the gift of putting fabrics together to create a beautiful environment. They have been a big influence on my choices and I thank them for using bold colors, a love of chinoiserie, combining antiques with the new, mixed with a New England preppy upbringing.
